This track is the result of an email sent across the Atlantic from one Zoe Robertson (me - zoerobertson.com ) to another Zoe Robertson (www.zoerobertson.co.uk - a jewellery designer in Birmingham, UK).

I thought it would be funny for two different Zoe Robertsons to do a project together, so I asked her simply if she'd like to collaborate on a video. She responded by making a dozen or so beautiful pieces of wearable art, each of which makes sound. When I visited her in Birmingham in 2013, I spent two days taking sound and video recordings of all the different pieces. I then took the recordings away and mixed them into this track. The finished video featuring many of the wearable art pieces and the choreography of Dayna Szyndrowski (daynaszyndrowski.com) can be seen here: vimeo.com/zoerobertson/red
